with others without truly connecting to ourselves. So the first question to ask: Do I like myself? And if you can say yes to that question then I can say: Do I love myself? I will approach each session as you are the expert. For example if we chose to meet one hour a week then that would leave you with 167 hours left in that week. You are the expert. I believe in humans so fervently that I will rely on you to bring the energy, information and ideas to each session. Because my job is to understand who you are. And if you can explain to me who you truly are then the work can truly begin.
In addition to my masters degree in clinical mental health counseling, I also have an affinity for human beings. And the hardships and pain of being a human. I have seen a world that is not conducive to growth for those except for the financially elite. I have 40+ years of walking amongst you and using tools that I have learned in life, my education, and in my own therapeutic journey. I am wanting to offer ideas that can help you find the motivation and willingness to create those changes. None of us do life for the result. We do life for the journey. Understanding that we do not have to do that journey alone makes life worth living.
